Sure - weekends too? Look guy - you had some time to place a phone call.
Yeah I don't really buy it. We are all busy, make some time. Somebody is just cranky.

I'm off weekends but I leave Friday morning to get my truck so the fact that I could handle this on a weekend is moot. As stated before, they got back in touch with me after sending 2 emails in the past 2 days. Just been surprised that I've had to prod them to get responses, I suppose they are busy. Anybody else want to jump on the "f this guy" bandwagon?

F this guy!!!

j/k. Glad everything worked out. I understand how frustrating this sort of thing can be. Enjoy the truck and put the anxiety behind you.

It's not F this guy, or F the dealership.

It's just, this is how it is. You said you've never bought a vehicle online before so you had expectations that were unreasonable for the process you entered in.

Telling you to call the dealership, or explaining why you aren't getting the service you feel you should be getting isn't saying F this guy.

It's just not saying - F this dealership.

I'm not going to harp on this any further beyond this post, but I disagree that expecting them to respond to my emails is an unreasonable expectation. I also don't feel that expecting them to "guide me through the process" as they stated they would is unreasonable either but everybody in entitled to their own opinion.

I don't expect them to hold my hand and wipe my ass, but I can't sell the truck to myself.

I shouldn't have to but looks like I will. Seems that they should be more eager to get this done and I shouldn't have to chase them.
If I had a dime for everything I shouldn't HAVE to do but I end up doing I would be a millionaire.

You are the one who NEEDS them now and you have a flight to catch. I'm sure they would rather not have you show up so they could sell it.

Make the calls.

Everything is handled, right? If so, cool.

If not, let me know. I literally just picked mine up on Saturday via a fly and drive through PHL. I might be able to guide you a bit.

My experience was super easy, and all my correspondence was handled in a timely manner. I have nothing but praise for everyone I interacted with at the dealer. Maybe I didn’t expect as much as you? I don’t know. I just tried to keep in mind that the team of 5 is personally handling emails from over 400 Maverick customers, plus the day to day operations and whatnot.

Enjoy the new truck!

I did my whole deal through Chapman via 90% email (e-signing), 9% phone calls and 1% next day delivery postal mail (receive documents, temporary tag, and sign some papers to send back next day mail).
Ive never been to their dealership at all and picked my Lariat Maverick up at a courtesy delivery locally (Georgia).

If you are financing through the dealership - you should call their finance department directly as sales won't be able to do anything with that.

I've often found that the sales and finance teams communication is lacking and then dealerships usually give their employees days off during the week so they are staffed for the weekend.

Top it off with other salesman won't touch another person's deal because there is no incentive and its likely you aren't getting the run around - you just around getting the right people.
Chapman doesn‘t work like that
They have sales teams
