I never understood brand hatred. I get someone may not like what's offered by whomever, but to hate a brand just seems odd. I've had Chevys, Fords, Toyotas, a Jeep and even an Isuzu. All were great cars. My dad was fond of AMC. Had a Nash Rambler station wagon and eventually moved up to a Rambler Six. wagon. Lots of good memories traveling across America in those cars.
