Mine should be there in a week or two. I've been wondering what others' experiences were... Did they tack on a bunch of crap? I said I wanted none of it but getting no response. (Sorry for going off topic in this thread)
You'll be fine with them from what I understand they're not tacking on anything just trying to sell extended warranty etc. They're not responding because of the sheer amount of Ford orders in total, not just Maverick orders.

Yes, as I said, I loved my Escape and went with the Mav because of the similarity and I wanted towing and AWD capability. Sitting in and driving the Maverick feels very close to the Escape.
BTW I was born and raised a Yooper, now in AZ... for obvious reasons lol.
My older brother now lives in Tucson. I have a love\hate relationship with Michigan. The hate part usually begins about Nov.15 and ends around March 30.❄🌨🌬

Ordered 10/15, delivered to dealer 2/14, picked up 2/19. I had to wait for the 30-day farm bureau limitation to expire so I could qualify for the $500 bonus.
I haven't had it long enough to give any kind of detailed review, but so far I couldn't be happier. The ride is so comfortable and my wife's first comment was how quiet it is. I loved the comfort of my '18 Escape and this is equally comfortable to drive.
I have no complaints but i do sort of miss the shifter on the Escape which doubled as a hand rest. My right hand doesn't know what to do with itself.

Ford raised the price for the XLT and Lariat in December. Did you have to pay for the price increase?

No price increase. The dealership honored the price on my October order.

Since we are all curious about the experiences of others with the Mav so I thought I post mine. I've had it a week, only 300 miles but I have some initial impressions. Keep in mind I am not a car guru, I'm just a driver. Also I had many of the features also on my 2018 Escape so some of what follows is somewhat comparative.
Gas MPG is coming up around 29, all city type driving, probably half and half between freeway and city streets. Caveat: I'm a conservative driver and use most in ECO mode, but still couldn't be happier with that which is better than my 1.5L Escape. I sort of wish it would remember the last setting but not a big deal.
Co-pilot 360: I find the lane keeping assist to be a little annoying as I did on the Escape. Maybe would be a little less so on a longer trip but I'm leaving it off for now. I wouldn't be without the adaptive cruise control which I also had on the Escape. The auto stop-start and brake hold I've learned to like a lot. I don't know how much gas it saves but it's not nothing when sitting at a long red light. So far auto stop-start has worked every time which was not the case on the Escape.
I'm learning to like the ability to lock and unlock the vehicle without using the key. Basically, the key never needs to leave your pocket.
The ride is as good as it gets, so comfortable, such an easy ride. Overall, quieter than the Escape.
My only complaint is the lack of rain sensing wipers which I had on the Escape and really liked. I'm adjusting to the dial "shifter" and finding something to do with my right hand with no knob to rest on.
So far I couldn't be happier with the Maverick. And the way I look at it, since I had price protection on my October order, I saved $1100 off the current price. I can say I bought at a discount, right?

I also installed the TruXedo TruXport soft roll-up tonneau cover. As others have stated, it could be an inch longer for a perfect fit, but so far appears to be mostly water proof. Which BTW I ordered from Realtruck.com and saved $30 by going to the chat and asking for a better price.
Also, don't miss out on the Farm Bureau rebate. I joined in AZ for $64 to get the $500 rebate.
