Are some Mavericks built in Michigan?

My order moved from "confirmed" to "in production" today on the Ford order tracking site!

I asked my sales consultant how long it would take for the truck to travel from the Mexico plant to Washington state and to my surprise she said the system showed that my truck was at the assembly plant in Michigan.

Anyone know if there are Mavericks being built in Michigan now? Or do they travel between Michigan and Mexico as part of the assembly process?

No. All maverick production is in Mexico. Unless your vin starts with"1" or "A" your vehicle is not built in the USA. Your dealer is misinformed. Seems to be a lot of BS coming from dealers lately

They are all built in Mexico. There have been times where batches of vehicles get another check in Flat Rock. That's happened to Fusions, MKZs, Explorers, and Aviators. Probably plenty of others too. I am not aware of Mavericks being sent to Flat Rock prior to customer delivery.

So how long did it take for your maverick to arrive in Michigan once it was built in Mexico?

my sales guys told me today that my Maverick that was shipped last week it is probably still at Michigan lmao

The ecvt for the hybrid is manufactured in Michigan.

NOT built in Michigan...BUT my Maverick is currently at the WAYNE MICHIGAN Assembly plant, where they build the bronco....they unload the mavericks getting sold in Michigan and truck them from there to the Michigan dealers....they then load that freight car with Broncos heading to other parts of the country.....my maverick was on rail car # 300150, it arrived at the wayne Michigan assembly plant sunday night and now that car is loaded with broncos and heading to Florida....now waiting for a damn truck to get the maverick loaded to get to my dealer!
