Fake Engine Sounds?

I’ve noticed in my hybrid thst when I put it in Sport Mode and give it some beans the engine found is fantastic. When I step in it in normal mode, even full throttle, it doesn’t sound anywhere near as good.
do you think we have that fake engine noise through the speakers bit going on here?
