Here’s some more pictures, I used posi-taps and Skar OFC speaker wire to tap into my front door speaker for my LOC I saw some people saying I shouldn’t use the rear speakers for adding a sub so I went with the front speakers which have worked perfectly fine. I used Crutchfield’s research notes for the correct wire colors but I also double checked the polarity using a AA

(Blue speaker wire is positive and silver/white is negative)

LMK if you have any questions

I upgraded the back speakers in the pillars and the sound that goes to them is just bad. Unfortunately, I'm only a plug and play person, so wouldn't know how to install an audio processor/amp, so I just fade towards the front.
there really is not much you can do to get any kind of decent midrange or midbass response out of a 4" speaker mounted freeair. (there's no meaningful separation between front and back of the driver.)

making it even worse for rear passengers is the fact one speaker is firing into the top & side of the head, so even though you can get decent treble out of upgraded speakers, the stereo imaging and soundstage is still going to be total crap.

fading front is the answer unless you have the money & interest in doing fiberglass pods in the rear doors.
