Last night, I was working on part of my dash camera hard wiring. Found the fuses I wanted to tap into and all is well. When it came to the ground wire, many have been using a stud and nut just below the fuse box at the passenger side floor.
I did not like this spot. There is not a good metal on metal contact for the ground. I took off the side panel for the center console and found a nut here that was perfect for a ground. With the panel off, I found a silly surprise which is definitely not dealer installed. Yes, I left it on.
