I own a 2022 Lariat hybrid. Since new it has required weekly charging to keep the battery at safe levels. I tried a new battery and a few visits to the dealer who always tells me nothing is wrong or it my fault for not driving enough or having to many add on accessories. Hookup under the hood is a hassle if it needs to be done frequently. Attached are some photos of my solution. I installed a female DC charging port in the grill. It is connected to the frame for -12 v and to +12volts at the jumper stud with a 5 amp fuse inline. The socket is held in place with cable ties. The most difficult part was finding an opening to feed the wire through. Things are sealed really well in the radiator/grill area. The only concern is the cap popping open in its own. I guess time will tell. With is in front it should come disconnected when backing out of my garage if I would bother to unplug it some day.
