That is the Granger Ford Extended Warranty site and it is the absolute cheapest place you can purchase a Ford ESP warranty.
Look like the price went for for 10years/125k from $3500 to $3925 unless it varies from state to state, dam it is expensive.

It does vary from state to state unfortunately.

The 8/125k/$200 deductible (no longer an option) PremiumCare on my 2023 Tremor was $2265, and included lighting protection and first day rental (not extended).

So in less than 2 years it jumped $1,600+ for me, and it was a hard no.

That being said - @Granger Ford is wonderful to work with and can't recommend them enough.

Plus - with the hybrid I have 8/100k on the hybrid specific componentry which is quite a robust covering so I would have figured my warranty for be less.

The 8/125k HondaCare warranty (basically PremiumCare for Hondas) was $1,400 for my 24' Civic.

I got mine here back in 2022. https://www.floodfordesp.com/

It was the cheapest at the time. Easy to buy. 1/2 the price of the dealer offered with their friends and family discount. I paid $1515 for 7 year/100,000 miles. Premium care. Just got my tonneau replaced at 60,000. Just about paid for itself.

Extended warranties are like any other insurance. If you don't need it, it is a waste. Soon as something goes wrong it becomes well worth the money.

I think you have to be honest with yourself about your intention to keep the truck. If you think you are going to keep it long term then I personally think the factory extended warranty is worth it to me.

However keep in mind that the hybrid battery and associated parts have a factory warranty of 8yr/100k, but it cannot be extended under the factory extended warranties. So those thinking they are extending their hybrid traction battery and associated parts that would not be correct.

With the rate of inflation still on a fast pace, shop rates are going up, parts costs are going up. The earlier you lock it in the warranty the cheaper it is and will look like a bargain if there is even one half way serious repair that is covered. Shop rates at $200 an hour won't take long to rack up a pretty big bill.

I am currently have 34,000 miles and just bought a premium care 5 year/150K warranty from Grainger. I plan on keeping my Maverick for a while as I love it. I put a lot of miles on so by the 5 year mark will probably be around 150K and will still have the lifetime powertrain from my dealer so at that point if I start having problems will be a sign for a new Maverick. To me the cost is worth the piece of mind that if I have a problem during those times I just take it to the dealer and fix it plus my dealer gives lifetime loaners for any warranty work. Hope this helps with your decision making.

Something else to consider:

Ask yourself how often and how many cars you have wrecked?
Some folks total a vehicle every 3 or 4 years. If you are in this category, an extended warranty may just be a waste of money for you, since it doesn’t cover wreck damage.

Hello,
My '22 Maverick is approaching the end of its factory warranty, and I'm curious about people's opinions on extended warranties. It would cost me $2,100 CAD for an additional 3 years and 50,000 km. The truck has had quite a few issues, so while I usually wouldn't consider an extended warranty, I'm seriously thinking about it for this vehicle.
You could of saved 5/600 dollars if you got it when the vehicle was new at Granger,
I paid about 1500 on my 22 FX4 back then and never used it, Granger refunded me about 1100 3 years later when I got my 25 Lariat Hybrid, I wasn't expecting that much back, there a solid company all online. I priced the new vehicle and fords prices have gone way up
think it was about 3500 for the lariat hybrid, am going to skip it for my new vehicle, like said the battery is 8yr 100k drivetrain 5 yr. I only keep a vehicle 3/4 years.
If you do it, make sure its the FORD warranty, also there are parts to the warranty, electrical, rentals, keys, etc. a headlight is 1200 I heard, a transmission could be 5/6k.
Its like health insurance you have it and pay lots and hope you never use it, I spent one night in hospital after a procedure it was 100k, not counting the doctors and all I got was scramble eggs and a bed for the night, but am sure glad I was covered in full.

How does first day rental work? can someone give me an example? so if your truck goes to ford dealer for repair and if ford dealer cannot provide a car, you can rent a car at enterprise, or hertz? Does the rental car must be ford? Also, the first day rental option only covers up to $40 per day. If I go to enterprise or hertz website, try to rent a car (smallest one available), it's already over $100 not including fees/taxes. Do I have to pay the different after -$40?
