I got one from my Credit Union (Kinecta FCU) here in Cali. It's a 7 year, 105k mile warranty with $0 deductible. Paid around $1700.
Thank you

I just got my truck last month.
If I understand correct, I can still get extended warranty before the end of 3 yrs / 36000 miles. And if I want just the powertrain warranty then by the end of 5 yrs / 60000 miles?
thanks!

Got mine from Flood Ford. Make sure you spend the extra $70 for the light protection. From what I understand our headlights use non-replaceable LEDS, so if one goes you have to replace the whole headlight unit.

My dealer tried to sell me there own plan. If you were not familiar with the Ford ESP you would never have known. I asked if it was a Ford plan that's when they told me they sell those too. So far I have not gotten one. I am concerned about all the electronics.
Go to Granger or Flood and get a Ford ESP at a great price! More then $1000 less then my dealer wanted.

Waiting for the factory warranty to end before getting an extended warranty won't save you money. All the warrantees start from the day the truck was sold new. They are transferable to the next owner which makes them valuable at selling time.

I bought a ESP from Zeigler. It was half the price of the Ford Protect website. My dealer tried to sell me the crappy high markup 3rd party useless warranty. They claimed to not know anything about Ford's ESP. For a large regional dealership conglomerate (Here in NC) they seemed rather dishonest. I'm new here and my Mav is new, so thank Y'all for all of the information!

Waiting will end up costing you more money if you plan on keeping your truck for a long time and want an extended warranty. Ford raises their warranty prices once or twice a year in April and/or October. If you wait three years the warranty price will have increased 3-5 times for the same coverage you can get now. Flood Ford has a notice on their warranty site that Ford is planning their largest warranty price increase this April.

I don’t mean this to suggest you should buy. Just info that might help someone decide. If you plan to sell or trade in the next 3-4 years it doesn’t matter. But if you plan to keep your truck for 5-10 years and want an extended warranty, now is the best time to buy based on price. It also makes sense to wait until the manufacturer warranty is about to run out if you are unsure how long you might keep the vehicle.

I am approaching 36K miles on my 2022 XLT EB AWD and believe purchasing an extended warranty is a wise decision.

The only issue I have that I have not seen discussed yet, is my truck is a lease.

The lease ends on January 31, 2025 and I am already over the mileage allowed which was 30K.

This pretty much leaves me with no other option to purchase the truck at the buy out price of $20,500 plus $500 lease buy out fee.

Yes I should have financed the vehicle, but the facts are the facts now.

Thoughts?

Just purchased the premium package. Very happy. No worries for 8 years and 100K.

I don't get it, Zeigler is $170 MORE than Ford's direct site. Granger is also more money that buying direct through Ford??
