Does anyone know where I can find information on the standard warranty for the Maverick hybrid? I tried looking on ford.com but was not able to find it. I know a couple of years ago Toyota came out with a 10 year 150K mile warranty on Hybrid Batteries so was wondering.

Also how much are 100K mile extended warranties running on these?

If you put in a few details at these links, you can get an idea of the cost. There are multiple dealerships that will cut you a VERY good deal. Flood Ford is one. Granger is another.

Often $50-100 over their wholesale cost. Please look into those other options before you buy it from the dealer you are getting your truck from (who will almost certainly try to take you for MUCH more of a markup).

On the 2022’s, the factory warranty is ‘8yr/100,000 Hybrid unique components if equipped’

In California, it is longer at least 10 years maybe 15 depending on which category the Maverick falls into.

IDK, what I posted above came directly off my truck's window sticker.

That's why I said in California because it's different. You are in MD so you don't get the longer warranty that California mandates for hybrid and EV vehicles.

With the warranty that comes with the truck, why buy more insurance?

According to others in this blog, a headlight replacement is $1100 for the Maverick, so maybe an extended warranty is worth looking into???

From the Warranty Guide:

Depending on your vehicle, electrical drivetrain system components covered by this warranty may include, and are not limited to: high-voltage battery, high-voltage battery connector, battery energy control module (BECM), on-board charger, inverter system controller (ISC), DC/DC converter, hybrid continuously variable transmission or electric driveline motor and transmission range sensor.

The 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty is the only manufacturers new vehicle warranty that covers your electrical components, trim( for defects), suspension, exhaust, and basically everything but maintenance items from defects( damage and abuse are not covered). So buying " more insurance" as you put it , depending on the policy/contract you purchase can cover these things past the 3 /36. Things like switches, window motors, latches, touch screen, wiring faults, steering gear and linkages, and many more items would all be out of pocket repairs for the owner without an extended warranty policy after 3/36. The standard gas engine powertrain warranty of 5/60 only covers the powertrain itself which basically only includes engine transmission, transfer case/PTU and drive axle(s).

I'll be getting an ESP 10 year warranty just before my first 12 months, 12,000 miles. The cost for those extra 7 years is only about 60% of the cost of one of my 2020 Transit headlights...$1700. One of those "they never fail" LED headlights lost half of the LED trim light at less than 2 years, and Ford replaced it under the original warranty.

I don't want to be on the hook with my Maverick's lights failing, so for sure I will be adding the extra light coverage for a whopping $15 for those extra years on my 10yr/48k mile $920 warranty from Granger.
