To the mechanics on this forum: My check engine light came on in my 2022 XLT Ecoboost, the dealer scanned it, and it came with fault that the evap ejector built into the air cleaner outlet tube, replace the tube. PVC tube attached the air cleaner is one time use and must be replaced as well. And of course, my truck is 4 months out of warranty. Is this a common occurrence and can anyone explain what happened for sure? I did not get a good feeling from the service advisor on this explanation. I consider my Maverick fairly new yet for this to happen, paying $650 for the repair.
Thanks everyone.
