'23 XLT Hybrid delivered Feb 2023.
42,000 miles, no issues.
Oil changes every 7,500-ish. Also drained and refilled transmission at 35,000; fluid looked good and probably didn't need it.
Consistent 47 to 49 mpg on mixed Dallas traffic.
Isn't the catalytic converter in the Hybrid right next to the exhaust manifold, tucked inside the engine bay? Not saying the extra protection under the truck isn't worth it.
2023 XLT Hybrid, delivered Jan 2023. Just turned 25,000 miles, no issues at all so far. Had the odd brake behavior and the occasional rough transition between electric and ICE modes initially, but those were fixed with recalls a long time ago.
Would buy again.
Thanks for the summary!
I've experienced the same discomfort with the high revving engine going down mountains in Colorado back in the summer, but got used to it after a couple of times.
Had the BCM update, instrument cluster, and the PCM update completed in mid-June and went for a 2,000 mile road trip a couple of weeks later. No problems whatsoever.
There are different things to consider here. Oil sitting in a closed bottle will not deteriorate, but oil sitting in an engine could.
Someone who only drives short distances would probably benefit from changing yearly since there's a higher chance of oil dilution due to fuel contanination...
2023 XLT Hybrid, non-Lux package picked up Jan 2023. 10,500 miles and no mechanical issues.
Easy 46-49 mpg commuting in Dallas traffic (calculated).
Brakes had a "different" feel at very low speeds but nothing like the grabby brakes issue many descibed here. Also had an occasional shake when...
Yes, same here. In 7,800 miles I don't think I ever got less than 600 miles to a tank doing normal commuting in town mixed with highway traffic.
Did 700 once or twice, but never 800.
Took delivery on 1/16, put 370 miles and still have 320 miles to empty.
Original gas tank from dealer. Showing average 48mpg so far, mixed driving.
Used to get 16-17 mpg on my Jeep JK. I'm happy!
