My 2023 EB AWD did not come with one. I do not see a need for them.

Cover question - do you know what years the cover from a hybrid Escape fit a hybrid Mav b/c the Ford part is discontinued.

Do you happen to know if there is any Lincoln hybrid model that also uses a cover that fits?

Mavericks don’t have them.Extra $5-10 production cost that Mercedes and bmw kind of made common , been a waste as far as I’m concerned for the last 25 years or so in vehicle production , they really only are good for armoralling your NEW vehicle to make the engine compartment look less cluttered when your displaying your NEW vehicle at some kind of car show off.
Maybe good for about 1/2db in sound reduction of direct injection noises .
But sound deadoning on hood bottom would attain a lot better results ,cheaper ,if that is your goal .
I tend to drive my vehicle with hood closed , and my 87 bronco doesn’t have one or my 92 centurion . I noticed my sons xterra doesn’t have one or the 79 triumph tr7 I have with the corvette engine too .

The looks of it just bothered me, plus, and as I indicated in an earlier message, I like a clean engine which I powerwash from time to time. I spect out an engine cover for a 2020 Escape and ended up getting one with a Lincoln emblem. It dampened the engine noise plus the engine compartment now looks great.

Totally subjective and personal , whether your ear hears a little more of the higher pitch clicking of the injectors or the lower pitch click of the actual pump on top , already being muffled by the foam or the valve train noise of a 4 cylinder with a plastic valve cover.
Just saying an extra layer of plastic only improves the sound deadening by a minor amount . Actual sound deadening would be a wiser investment unless your wanting the cleaner look when your doing an oil change , or showing the neighbor the engine.
Then again a cover with sound deadening on the back side may drop it 1 or 2 db

Thanks for responding w/ part number but I am interested in the number for the 2.5 hybrid engine cover but this p/n is for the 2.0EB. Does anyone have a p/n for the hybrid cover?
