I've been deep diving engine break in for my own 25 Maverick and so far I think this video describes all the situations for any vehicle. Let me know your thoughts.

Got access to your manual?
Does it say the same as 24MY?

Breaking-In

Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 mi (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow. During this time, your vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics.

Beyond that - many of the recommended items mentioned for years now - 1st start below operating temps don't be revving it high and taking off hard.

Whom is this so-called expert. Very few people are going to take a new car and drive it continuously over 75 mph for X hours. Neither are they going to drive at 20 mph fo Y hours. When my wife got her New Honda Accord in 1987 we drove it home 25 miles at a variety of speed, but most at 55 mph. The next day we drove 24 miles to get to I90 , and drove about 400 miles that day at mostly super slab speeds. Even then we took several stops along the way for breaks and lunch. We never had any problems whatsoever with that engine. Back then we did the first oil change at 3000 miles. very little debris in the oil change, as engines are flushed now.
I will follow the manufacturer's recommendations fairly closely, but not lose any sleep about going over the suggested miles by a few hundred miles.

Had 20 some new vehicles, I just drove em.
Huh, imagine that, me too. Here I am some nearly 30 years later of driving and no issues with new vehicle break in driving. I thought it was supposed to be rocket science and stuff, Don't forget kids change that break in oil before a thousand miles. 😆😂🤣🤣
