It’s probably going to blow up next week…just kidding, you’ll be fine. I’m a believer in making it work during break-in. Don’t beat on it, but make it work under a load to seat everything.

When I rebuilt the engine in my tractor, I ran it for a few minutes to warm up, then dropped a plow in the ground to put a load on it and seat the rings. With my Maverick, it just so happened my first real freeway run (70-75 mph) didn’t occur until about 1,000 miles. Until then, I just drove it how I planned on driving it on a daily basis. If I needed to run on the freeway before their “break-in period,” I wouldn’t have hesitated.
yea just did my first oil chnage on it. dont know if its different for the 2022-2024 but the factory oil filter was tiny... i mean half the size off the 910s list on fords website. also as per usual the oil was very strange, thick, and with allot of gray and fine glitter(not everyday i get to do my own first only change after factory fill) it was kinda cool

tiny filter, if your getting enough particulate in the tiny little filter to even hamper or restrict oil flow your engine has already irrecoverably destroyed itself.

On my 2008 Tacoma I sometimes dumped the oil, unscrewed the filter and let it drain a few minutes then screwed it right back on. A fresh load of Full syn Mobil 1 goes in changing the filter the next time.
I did 10,000 miles oil change intervals and left the old oil filter on maybe a dozen times over the life of that engine.
That by the way gave me 528,000 miles of trouble free service.
The smaller oil filters were easier to get a grip on for proper hand tightening.

Why would I do such a thing ?
Absentmindedness, I sometimes forgot to pick up a filter. I was driving commercially about 3,000 miles a week. I figured wtf, I’ll get it next time.

It was a 5.5 quart system. If I had a big V-8 with an 8 quart system I’d want a bigger filter.
I won’t skip filter changes with my Maverick, Two reasons,
It’s got a Turbo and Ford does the work.
They use a pretty small filter.

i think your misunderstood, the filter that was fitted when the truck was assembled was still on, and it was part # 2207993 which is the same filter they use on a ford puma 1.0l, i got the 910s and slapped it on(mines the 2.5 hybrid) i have no idea why that little filter was on there.

Glitter is not good in your oil. You might consider getting it analyzed. My first oil change at 1000 miles came fairly clear and a bit darker than new. Same for 5k.
