Don't over think it. As long as you are not pedal to the floor off every stop, you will be fine. Cruising at 75-80 mph won't be a problem.

That's it's done for. I'll give you $7,000 for it. 😁

It's basically broken. Time to trade it in before the problems start. šŸ˜‰

You're fine.
Dont even get me started lol, this is my first ford ever, and when the chevy spark gets paid off, im tempted to get the LOBO

I heat cycled my Ecoboost for the first 50 miles. Getting it up to normal 4 bar temp then shutting it off for a cool down. After I got it up to three bars on the temp gage I’d drive it just a few miles.
Then from 50 to 500 miles I drove it, ā€˜Briskly, frisky like.
All over the tach but mostly below 3,500 rpm with some excursions to 4,500 rpm

After that, the next 500 miles I drove it like I stole it.
Then settled down after 1,000 miles
At 3,000 it got a fresh load of Full Synthetic.

My Truck, My way, same way I took a 2.7 Ltr Tacoma to 528,000 trouble free miles.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I drove from Dallas/Fort Worth to St. Louis MO and back the week I bought my 24 Lariat Hybrid and it had less than 20 miles on it when I picked it up. I did 70-75 the whole way. I just avoided accelerating hard to pass and such. I had no issues and it's got 20k on it now.

The only break in I did was to take it sorta easy for a few hundred miles. Basically the only thing I did was let it warm up some before I took off.

It’s probably going to blow up next week…just kidding, you’ll be fine. I’m a believer in making it work during break-in. Don’t beat on it, but make it work under a load to seat everything.

When I rebuilt the engine in my tractor, I ran it for a few minutes to warm up, then dropped a plow in the ground to put a load on it and seat the rings. With my Maverick, it just so happened my first real freeway run (70-75 mph) didn’t occur until about 1,000 miles. Until then, I just drove it how I planned on driving it on a daily basis. If I needed to run on the freeway before their ā€œbreak-in period,ā€ I wouldn’t have hesitated.
