Enable Remote Start on keyfob

My 2024 Lariat has the remote start feature on the fob. Use it every day

Yep, same here it's on my 2022 lariat key fob. I can't remember that far back, maybe the xlt and lariat got remote start on the key fob included in lux pkg, not sure

The MY23 Lariat did not come with remote start. You had to add it (the one thing I regret not doing).

You also need to make sure it's enabled in the vehicle settings on the dash screen and toggle switch.

The "2x" on the hood opener means you need to pull it, let it go, and pull it a second time.

I like it like that: no feeling under the hood for the lever to release the hood.

Did you try pushing lock then pushing 2X twice?

That’s how I used to start my XLT.

They have also just updated the Ford Pass app.

Look for the Try FordPass 5 below the remote start button and restart the app.

Easier to start remotely now. Swipe right and release instead of holding down.

I do like the look of the new app, but see some glitches. For example, the tire pressure for each tire isn't showing. If I switch back out of the beta app, they show the values.

A work in progress, I guess?
