And the hybrid, Prolly wouldn't perform as efficiently but I bet It would be a blast with the 2.0 Turbo
and a hybrid battery about three times the size of the current one.
Might as well get a Ford F150 Powerboost hybrid then. The cost of the Maverick would reach pretty high and get closer to the nicer F150.

I know a lady that bought this truck but in XLT trim. $64,000
She gets 25 mpg around here, in these not too extreme Appalachian mountains.
Very nice truck, We went for a drive. She let me drive.
What can I say, It Is a VERY nice truck.

My 2024 Hybrid XLT sticker says "Auto CV Transmission". Is that the same as eCVT?
Yes. You didn't get a special run with different tranny.

They seem to have used about 3 different terms when this came up before and buyers posted the descriptions.

Here is a question for smarter people than I....Since the starter motor for the ICE is actually in the eCVT running off the high voltage battery. How big of a 12v is actually need to start the car in an emergency?

My 12VB with morning voltage 11.4 this 0 F day, dropped to 10.8 from already being in Accessory mode.
Not much at all. ETA: that's 0.6V, minor compared to ICE-only vehicles.

I know when I used a battery tester that was going to specifically log the amps - it didn't think it started so it just complained to start.
The V didn't drop enough, I guess barely any amps used - so it didn't think anything happened.
Wasn't smart enough to see the 14.8-15.0 V meant it did start.

So ya - for a jump start - don't need the normal process of let the low battery receive charge for awhile to handle the load.

Your 12V battery is fried. Get a new one. 11.4V and 10.8V are both waay too low. Anything below 11.9V will trigger battery saver measures like deep sleep and shutting off interior lights and passenger doorlock, etc. If you're under the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty time, then the battery is a warranty item.

No DSM yet, never got an alert all last winter on just as poor a battery.
Obviously have max battery saver functions. ETA: actually timed my overheard light - 27 sec to off after getting in, no key inserted. I'm living it up!
But it's not bad enough for a warranty replacement, I already know that from experience.
So I can't even get the ACCM update yet. Even though I show no sleep mode draw beyond the expected 50 mA, and the going to sleep range of 550 to 330 mA or less by 30 min.

Oh, the 10.8 was what it dropped from on Starting - so a 0.6 V drop.
Compared to ICE with starter getting a 3 V drop perhaps.
I was pointing out the amount of drop - why it doesn't take much battery to do so.

My battery saver must be different.
Mine has sat a week due to ice. It’s always peak charged at 12.5 VDC, no more.

I found it at 11.8 VDC and still not in sleep mode.
I peaked this Motorcraft AGM yesterday at 12.53 vdc
My Nico Genius 1 or my faster Schumacher at 4 amp never peaks it any higher, 12.53 was the highest.

Gonna watch that battery like a hawk.

Deep Sleep Mode line is 9.5V, or 14 days non-started, or below 40% Ford special SOC.
Sleep mode happens up to 75 min max after last activity, turn-off or door open/closed - so mostly in sleep mode.
Battery saver is 12.1V and below - did you notice lights off sooner?

That sure seems low V though, even if really cold - load test would be interesting.
