Over the past week I've noticed my dash camera shuts off immediately after shutting the ignition off and opening the door, my rear bed power the same. Remote start didnt want to work this morning which I thought was strange. And last was the auto start stop hasn't worked in a couple weeks.

When I've gone for longer 1h+ drives it seemed to work fine then. My daily commute is rather short at 7km speeds between 50 and 80kmh with a few lights but is that really an issue with the Maverick? I've done this commute for 5 years in 8 different cars and never had an issue with weak alternators not charging, (granted none have been this high tech 1966-2007) but is that just how it is? Any other ecoboost owners have a similar commute and the same issues?

Your battery is likely dying/functionally dead. I had the same issue with auto start/stop not working and reset the battery management system (directions are here on the forum somewhere) to see if that would fix it. When it didn't, took it to the dealer, who did the first test Ford asks them to do. Both of those ultimately didn't fix the issue. Took it back, they did another test, and it failed. New battery has been solid for months.

How long was it until it started giving you problems? It only has 500km on it after almost a month of ownership. I heard a while back there was a bad batch of batteries but that was last year sometime
