I took mine off my power stroke with a drill and rubber wheel attachment but that was on an older truck obviously. A heat gun gets pretty hot even on low setting I’d use a hair dryer before that.

I‘ve been reading up on this in preparation for the delivery of my Tremor, and what reportedly seems to help is to pre-soften the decal first by draping a towel soaked with hot water over the decal for a minute or so, and then hitting it with a hair dryer after the decal has been “pre-softened.” Good luck!

But for real I use a heat gun but don't over heat it. Just hot enough that you can still put your hand on it. Use a plastic razor catch the edge corner just enough so you can grab the vinyl and SLOWLY pull the vinyl backwards onto itself at a 180° like your unmasking a paint job. Too fast and it will leave adhesive behind which will require another step. You can easily get them off without collateral damage. Good luck.

Ditto. For a new truck, just peel it off with a fingernail in one piece. No heat, chemicals, or tools required.

I peeled mine off and replaced them with matching ones from Etsy. It peels right off. Pretty crappy sticker anyway.

Start at a top corner. If it starts to leave adhesive behind, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol with a spray bottle to the area as you're pulling on it.

Do I need to invest in a heat gun?

You guys have ALL got me curious! I am an XL owner, so I am not in the know. WHY DO YOU ALL WANT TO REMOVE THE EMBLEM DECAL? I always thought that the American way was to SHOW any upgrade to the basic vehicle. Please clue me in.

I personally think it's tacky and doesn't look clean, also only colors I want on my truck are white and black. I will be blacking out logos and chrome as well. Some people buy black FX4 stickers to replace with but I prefer it blank.

Yeah, I know it’s unAmerican, but I hate having any kind of decals on my cars, even pin striping. The very first thing I plan on doing once I take delivery is to get rid of those TREMOR decals.
