Driver's Side Window Control

Anybody had the controls stop working? None of the windows will open from the driver's seat. I can reach over & work the passenger's side or rear driver's side from the switches on those doors but not from the master controls.

There have been problems in the past with drivers window control but usually it affected the passenger side rear window operation. The fact that the windows operate by their independent switches means that the fuses are all good.
I fear that your driver side window control has given up the ghost and needs to be replaced.

Assume a bad switch or fuse - just a guess.

Check your manual for fuse info

Fuse #6 10 Amp
Moonroof

Driver door switch pack

I got lucky. They were all up at the time.

It's doubtful that fuse #6 blew. Rear window works.

No idea, just a guess. the manual shows one fuse for all windows (fuse #25), noticed fuse #6 showed "driver door switch pack", so I thought it might be power for that whole switch panel

Had that issue happen about 300 mi away from home base. Long story short, drove back on the highway with a garbage bag and a lot of duct tape. Ford found the problem was control fuse in the master switch and replaced it under warranty.

I had that happen once about a year ago. Someone on here said to wait 30 minutes and try again. I did, and they worked. I haven't had the problem since.

Check for TSBs on your VIN. There's known issues with window switches.

This just happened to mine. I can’t operate my windows or adjust my mirrors from the driver seat. Passenger & rear windows still function using their individual switches. Fuse 6 & 25 were all good so it’s going in next week to get looked at.
