Its an inexpensive truck! I don’t expect near perfect ergonomics on my Mav. If I did I would probably have bought 15O or a Ram.
I agree that steering wheel adjustment can improve seat comfort.

I drive an hour to and from work everyday. The seats are adequate however, my wife’s Bronco sports seats are more comfortable for longer rides

The seat bottom is too short. If it were 2 inches further out (towards the pedals) that would give thigh support like you see on any German vehicle and would be MUCH better.

I am reading...... If you have an XL or XLT that the seat is crap.

Anyone that paid a bit more for the Lariat have a dog in the fight?
I have yet to take delivery. So anyone with the lariat could chime in; that would be great......I wanted the co pilot 360 and better seats. But if the seats in the lariat suck; I will waste the 100.00 down and get a F150.

I have a Lariat with BAP and the seats are great for me. One of the reasons I got the truck. But I might have different needs than others.

Seat are great for me...but took me a month to figure out that the comfort level for me was to jack up the seat at least 2 inches with the left side adjustment knob. One of the more comfortable seats I've ever had...try adjusting the height.

23 Lariat hybrid. 6' 245# Have had 3 back surgeries. Initially put on padded seat covers. No issue on short trips, major pain and numbness after an hour on long trips. Removed padded covers and placed cheap cloth covers. Now 5 hour drive is ok. Agree that bottom could be longer for thigh support.

I think I made the correct decision spending the extra. So many people here complain about the XL and the XLT Lux...... Who all wanted the cheapest and the least expensive rig and expect the best of everything; Those trucks were meant for FLEET. Meaning they were meant for short distance; and In and out of the vehicle and doing WORK. Not for LONG drives and hauling the family around.

I don't get it........ Folks are Gonna complain that they didn't get the BEST of everything without paying for it.

Totally blows my mind....... I am a FORD guy; through and through. But I have owned the XL Ranger (1990s; which I went the the salvage yard and got Explorer seats) all the way the 2017 ULTIMATE F350; Sold it in the pandemic (they gave me more than I paid.......) and got a 2018 F350 lariat (Less BS electronics and the same comfort) THe Lairat is the Best of all packages for the price (My opinion only).

I Will take delivery of my Maverick; and I will give a thorough unbiased review. (Other than its a Ford; cuz I only own them) But all I see is the Maverick "Sucks" from people that never owned a LOWER end ford. If you want Comfort you pay for it. If you want basic; you get what you pay for.

Sorry I took over this thread, but I really want to know what the Lariat seats are like. I Can't find one around to just sit in. I am 300 lbs 6'4" and OLD. My Lariat Dually is so; so very comfy. If this Maverick is even close to that; I will be happy.

Sorry again for stealing the thread. But Really...... did you expect the best comfort from the XL and XLT?

Regards,
SHREK

I Have a 24 XLT and I absolutely love my Baby Ford as My wife calls it but I am only 5’9” - 178 lbs and I find the Drivers seat to be uncomfortable even with padded seat Covers ? Is it just me or .
Maybe. I always expect to use a good seat cushion; The 24 Mav Lariat as well as my last car (Mazda CX-5)

I got the power adjustable seat so maybe that's helped because I think the seat feels great. I havent been on a long trip yet or had anyone in the back so I'm not sure how those are I dont forsee the back seats being too great for long trips but maybe Im wrong

I have issues with sitting too long; my left hip starts to ache and I have to walk around to relieve it. I have to say, no issues with the driver's seat in our new XLT and I don't use the lumbar support, as it annoys my back. Very pleased to not have that achy hip in our ride!

I have a 23 XLT , 6'1" ,235 pounds. I have no problem with the seats as long as I don't sit in the back.

A massive failure? A little dramatic don't you think. I'm perfectly happy with the adjustability. You might not like it, okay, cool. But don't speak for the rest of the world with "massive"
I'm gonna have to agree with the OP. I can't seem to get comfortable in my '24 Lariat; adjusting the front of the bottom cushion to tilt up would make all the difference in the world.

Try lowering the seat. I had to do that in a few cars to get the front up. But with these seats I prefer a flatter seat since they are higher.
