Driver seat comfort/discomfort

Anyone else notice a noticeable wire under the seating material at the base of the driver seat in the middle back? I'm finding a little bit of discomfort on longer drives... might look in to adding some padding under the seat in that area. Thoughts?

Sorry to hear that but my seat is very comfortable. Never noticed anything under the fabric.
Became even more comfortable after I installed the seat covers. XLT tho.

Do you have XL or XLT/Lariat?

I've got XLT+ Lux so it has the power drivers seat. It no longer bothers me but I didn't care that the tilt adjustment for the seat bottom is hinged on the front but I've grown accustomed to my seating position.

For the seatback I've got the lumbar adjustment and I wish I could move it up and down the seatback I think the range for the lumbar is quite good and I can always find a sweet spot.

I have the Lariat ('23). There's this noticeable bump in the centre back portion of the seat base, and I find that it doesn't have enough support (too soft) that it's somewhat uncomfortable after about 30 minutes... seeing what I can do about lifting the seat cover from the back and adding/adjusting the seat foam.

what seat cover did you install?

I have the Mabett Seat Covers from Amazon.
Look great! Had few friends seating on my maverick none of them realized that it was a cover.
Now, my black Mav looks much better with all the seats in black.
I definitely recommend it.
