Door Sill Protector recommendation

Ordered these colored door sill protectors on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/AJLOTMO-Refl...0BBMYSKM7/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8), even though I had mixed feelings about installing them, concerned about longevity for these "sticker" type things, but these were quite the pleasant surprise. For one thing, these aren't your every day kind of "sticker" -- besides being carbon-fiber they are considerably THICKER than I expected, which made placing them a breeze, I wasn't fighting against some flimsy film to get it to line up or anything, once I peeled the backs off they slid right under the rubber door moulding and all I had to do was smooth them down with a clean rag. I'd read someone here say they ordered the blue and it didn't match "enough" but I'm happy with my red, not sure the picture does justice to just how well it matches in person. I got the first one on only as an experiment, to see if I liked them, then immediately installed the rest. Nice. $16 for the set.

I'm guessing that blue option might stain and darken over time, ending up a pretty good match for the interior. Anyone experience this yet?

Just put mine on. They are a pretty light blue. They seem well made for the money. They should still look good in 5 years.

You could probably use the same strips. They are very conformable, and stick well.

Actually that’s where the ones I have are supposed to go according to directions and that’s where I put them. I see pics all over the place showing them on the paint as well. Those all seem to be longer.
