Does the 2024 XL Have A Lock On The Tailgate

Does the XL come with a keyed lock on the tailgate? The options on the website say a tailgate lock is available but that locks the tailgate to the bed. Can’t find a definitive answer the forum or on Ford.com.

All Mavericks have locking gates. XL locks by key only.

Highly recommend. Added this to my 22 XL and it was easy. Don’t be cheap and add the harness too.

The tailgate lock option is referring to something like this:

That would lock your tailgate from "thieves' who can remove your tailgate and take it without using any tool.
