I've got 3 issues with nighttime driving in my area.

1 - The sheer number of people who find it acceptable to use high beams 100% of the time.
2 - Also the number of people (Nissans in particular) who don't bother with headlights at all
3 - Vehicles with aftermarket HID or LED in headlamp assemblies with optics designed for halogen.
1. that's what ditch lights are for, revenge
2. your high beams allow both cars to see
3. the only serious reply. I went with a 100W white HID to replace the pitiful lights on my Raptor. I did re aim them out of the box according to Ford spec because I was concerned about brightness. They were off some horizontally but not vertically. I see much better and no one flashes me over the past 10 years.
I'm hoping my ordered Mav is as good as a 2020 Escape.

The Hot Pepper Red is definitely worth the extra $$. It appears to me to be a higher quality more expensive paint job--They're not charging that significant $495 premium for nothing. There must be significant incremental time and materials. HPR has movement and changes to several different hues depending on lighting. Really a beautiful paint that you have to see in person in a range of lighting. The black matte maverick plastic trim on the bumpers and bed, and grey wheels and grill trim give it a beautiful complimentary 2-tone effect--plus the orange accents in the XLT interiors seem like they were made with HPR in mind. Don't think it's a coincidence that HPR was used in most of the PR shots.

I apologize for tbe dumb question in advance.

I have area 51 as my color right now, and recently I am starting to like the hot red pepper.

That said, I'm totally up for paying $500 more for the color and if it has better paint quality, cuz the maverick is known for poor paint.

Can yall chime in? red pepper better against UV? thicker paint? whats the consensus?
My HPR has held up very well. No chips and I get compliments on the color all the time.
