It would also explain why it's not on the Lariat...not many companies using Lariats for a fleet vehicle.
A "toll" card slot would make sense too.

I think it's a dummy plate. My truck has buttons there.

on safari, I have to turn off littlesnitch, or it stops at 90%. I think I was able to upload on Firefox though, with little snitch still on.

there are some domains that sometimes provide useful services to others, but are often blocked because of tracking and other anti-social behavior (adobe comes to mind!)

You see these on a wide variety of WT/lower trim levels on multiple brands. I've always assumed it was for a fleet gas card, service card etc. My 23 LT has one.

Everybody should know by now that is the credit card reader. So when they go to a Pay To Play plan on all your accessories, the Maverick accepts credit cards!!!!
