I'd love to hear an update after the fabric has been through a summer. I'd love to cover a few of the most scratch prone spots, but I fear the adhesive would just melt and give out in the Texas heat.
Sure I’ll report back. I like the look of it but I’m concerned about it staying as well. As mentioned previously, that plastic is tough to adhere to. I’ll see how it goes in the Florida heat the update.

Not perfect but should help with some of the trouble spots. Cheap self adhesive fabric on amazon.

Very well done! Also, looks like we have the same poorly fitting amazon towel set cover, lol. Fits like Cher's undies.

Unfortunately, it's too late to save my Mav from interior gashes, scratches and scuffs. When I see posts like this, I think about this very appropriate video and tune...

That’s funny. It definitely doesn’t fit very well but it helps to keep the foot smell out of the truck when I leave the gym…..outside of that they are laughable

Great idea. Funny enough, I used the same fabric to cover up the metal screens covering the front door speakers in my wife's Palisade. The original screens looked like a cheese grater and they had the same effect on one's legs. Have to wonder who the "genius" was who came up with that torture device.
Anyway, I used contact cement. Not sure if that would permanently mark up the plastic on the Maverick.

Update: I have had a few areas peel a bit. I was able to secure them back by rubbing them down but I’m sure it will happen again. I think my plan will be to cut more (I had plenty left over in the roll of 6’), use a plastic primer as suggested before, and also add spray adhesive. I believe once that is done there won’t be any issues. I’m not sure about contact cement as suggested as well but I think goo gone will take care of spray adhesive in the future if necessary.

thanks, hate the plastic scratches. I wonder if there is residual mold release that could be cleaned prior to installing

I mentioned earlier I found pre-cut guards for the door so I figured I would put the link in case anyone is interested:

Also the silicone guards for the seatbelts look like they would help to prevent scratches on the pilllars between the front and rear doors, the are:

Great idea and especially since I have a dog and it matches really well. Do you have a link by chance? I would like to look into it. Thank you
