This could be an alternative as well.

🤓 :unsure: I don’t have that problem, but came up with a thought , how about that stuff that they use for Clear bras? Stretched some of that over the area you’re concerned about.

See the above. ☝That's exactly the same product.
PPF = Paint Protection Film
It's clear allowing the color of the interior through but at the same time protecting it.
The caveat is. If any of the area has been sprayed with a protection substance. That all has to be scrubbed off before anything will stick properly.
Below is a picture of my door panel. I just wiped it off. Those marks would have been on the door panel instead of the ppf. One of these days I'll peel it off and replace it.

I've actually used these pads to place/stick in areas that scratch easily and they've worked well. I agree with you that I wish they'd create something more custom, but for now this was the best I could come up with. I didn't place them on the door sills, for obvious reasons, but anywhere else I cut them to fit and it didn't look terrible (at least not to me)

Do you have any pictures of where you placed this product?

These are the only pics I have (which aren't the best), but you get an idea. I put padding behind where the seatbelts hit because that catches it bad, just dont have pics of it. That truck got traded in last week, so can't take pics. Im about to do it to my new truck, so I'll definitely post once I do. Going to try to do a cleaner job of it this time!

👍 I like it.
The plastic inner sill needs protection the most, like you have.
Most companies offer options for the metal outer door sill.
In my experience with the Maverick that area gets very little abuse.
