Looking for recommendations on DIY ceramic coating brands. Leaning towards Gyeon Mohs if anyone has experience with this brand.

I don't have any experience with the DIY coatings and was in the same boat a few weeks ago trying to decide what to use. I would consider the Turtle Wax spray ceramic every 4-6 months at a cost of about $8 per treatment and about an hour of your time. Beads up better than the $2500 pro ceramic coated F-Type I had previously. I don't know how long it will last, but it's so easy to apply that it doesn't much matter. Just a thought!

I did Gtechniq EXO v5 topped with their Crystal Serum Light on the paintwork, Gtechniq HALO on the paint protection film, and I used their windshield/glass kit. 6 months in, and still looks great and like it was just applied.

I purchased carbon force by chemical guys. Been abt a year and a half and it beads up but, new cars bead up also. Poop and other contaminants wash and wipe up real easy

Turtle wax graphene every few months. I sprung for a fine clay- microfiber cloth as well, love it. Wow has waxing and care come a long way or what?!

I really like the Cerakote ceramic coating. They had a little trouble when it first launched but tweaked the formula and it is great. You get 60 ml for $60. Also as stated the turtle wax sprays every couple of months is a good option. I just like the permanent or long term one.

I use Simoniz Glass Coat. Same product as dealerships use. Can purchase on EBay. I have this product on a 2018 vehicle and it looks like it rolled off the showroom. People can’t believe it’s not a new car. Very easy to apply. One 2 oz bottle is more than enough to do a Maverick.

I love this guy I watch all his reviews, before I seen this review I put 2 coats of the Cera coat on my truck last summer it lasted all winter, even put a 3/4 coats on the hood, it takes half hour to do whole truck and still working for 17.00 still have some left should be able to put another coat on the truck. Maybe I will try the Hybrid solution's 15.00 next. Not spending 150.00 for the Adams when its so easy to apply the others and they last so long.

I have used several of the last few years. Griots 3in1 Ceramic spray, Cerakote spray and recently Avalon King on my Maverick. Of the three the Avalon King is the only permanent ceramic coating. It went on easily added shine and beads like crazy. It’s only been on for a few months so no idea of longevity.
The Griots is decent but only lasts 6 months or so. The Cerakote is a great product for the money and is still decent after a year on a black car. Prep is key and you should not use automatic car washes. Avalon king is my choice for permanent coating. Super easy to apply.

I agree with you about the Turtle Wax ceramic spray. Easy to use, a little goes a long way ( one or two sprays for panel is all you need . . . too much spray and it gets more difficult to remove . . . read the directions!) I like that you get 6 month protection with 2 coats and you can't beat the price, about $25.
