Apologies!!! My goodness....

Why I said not for the loyal Ford lovers.

To clarify, we first bought the ECOBoost front wheel drive and then upgraded for the AWD FX4 for the 4K towing package in hopes we could use it for the pull behind camper. But considering the truck was in the shop all summer that was a bust. When creating the account the wrong option was chosen, I will update so I don't cause any more confusion... I can post on here all the service logs we have, if you need further proof or info.

Again, I really don't care if you love the truck or Ford for that matter. This is the second Ford I have personally owned and a family member who prior owned a Ford Fiesta that was also crap. We both no longer have those vehicles but we are still in the mass action lawsuit from those two vehicles. I have not had one good experience thus far, if you have, I am so happy for you! This is just for awareness in case it happens to the next poor person.

Hope you salad was delicious.....

Also added the codes thrown.

It's good to know the experiences of others. I'm just not following the problems you had with your vehicle.

The problem is that we had a malfunction with the turbo waste gate, it was getting stuck open and closed. Ford dealership said nothing was showing on the OBD reader even though there was codes on the Ford Pass App. They didn't fix anything and we were almost involved in an accident due to their negligence. No one cares and/or wanted to do anything about the issue and we have to battle them to care. Then once forced to care they magically found the problem.

I can understand your frustration. Folks that haven't dealt with Ford like this certainly won't.

I spent a couple of months talking to Ford's "customer service" that continually lied to me, failed to follow back, and provided absolutely zero solutions to the botched airbag recall that could have killed me and my passengers despite photo evidence and screenshots from their official service manual.

It took 3.5 months and upwards of 25 calls with somewhere around 6 "customer service" representatives to finally get my issue fixed at another, more competent dealer.

This was my first and last Ford.

That’s a lot of word pasta to say my truck had a bad turbo.

Issues happen. I hope your next vehicle is worlds better than your piece of shit Maverick.

That the entire point. I remember a time where companies took pride and ownership when it came to their product. What happened to the companies Good Name.... Now its all a cash grab and they leave you high and dry. We had to follow up on everything as well since they would never call us back as they "promised"

Well I'm sure plenty of people come here to say Ford is terrible but then you need "proof" for anyone to believe you. Then you tell your story and they still don't believe you because then you are just a disgruntled person.... All I wanted to do is let other owners know what i went through in case they have the same issue. Cant make everyone happy lol.

Your story wont help me in the future because I'm never taking my Maverick to a dealer in Pittsburgh PA.

every interaction you described above with servicing your Maverick is a Ford dealership, not Ford Motor Company.

Ford Motor Company made the vehicle that developed an issue. that's on them.

the rest is on that dealership.

I would love for that to be true but the mechanic was talking to us on the side and he wanted to service the vehicle the first time it was there but was not allowed as Ford Corp did not give them permission to do so. Both ends lied to us the entire time, one said it was the others fault. Both don't care.
