Ford Maverick Disable auto locking? 1743214923074-f0

Or could avail yourself of the incredibly easy tech we have within easy reach to find what was already compiled by those already tired of looking up the same info again and again for post after post.

Or keep insulting posters.

Likely one will be more helpful.

Ya, I looked through that before I posted.. did you see something there that would work?

All I see is enable auto-lock in cluster, which folks on this forum reported did nothing.
And speed-lock disable which seems like the right thing, but it's in the 4in cluster screen only section which I assume won't work for my Lariat.

I'm not insulting anyone who's not been a jerk first.. but I don't have to sit here and take being trolled either when I ask an honest question.

And several other righteous manual-quoters like the guy above talking about disabling auto-unlock that are also missing the question.
What I posted doesn’t disable anything. It clearly explains what needs to happen for the vehicle to unlock all the doors automatically when you stop, which is at least part of what you asked about. It isn’t based on shifting into Park, but it’s how Ford has it set up.

There is also the magic button on the door.

Well the 'similar threads' for me, and anything I could find in search, are mostly all about some issue with the truck auto-locking after you leave the vehicle.. not what I'm asking about here.

And several other righteous manual-quoters like the guy above talking about disabling auto-unlock that are also missing the question.

Appreciate the attempts, hopefully one of the FORscan experts or someone will notice.

I also read some generic Ford instructions talking about going into a 'config mode' with a sequence of triple presses of the unlock button with the car on and off... and being able to disable auto-lock there.. but that sequence didn't seem to work on my Maverick.
Most likely it did not work because you did the sequence either too fast or did one step too slow.

Anyone with something a little more intelligent to offer than just snark?

Oops, look like some of the posters mistook this for a web forum for folks with a common interest, not a paid "do my research for me" site.

Glad I don't live where that would even be something to worry about.
Hey, I think I'm to two years since the last homicide up the street, and three or four months since the last time one of my vehicles was broken into!

But still interrupted a couple of times a night by low police helicopters . . .

Oh, gosh. How rude of them to try to help for free and fail. I'd demand a full refund. At least double your money back!

Grow up.

If you're not mature enough to handle people making funny comments, or not answering what you wanted while trying to help you, you're not tall enough to use the internet.

Smart remarks are not trolling. The better ones are a big part of what makes forums worthwhile.

I haven't been near Hendertucky since Thursday.

But I stayed on the freeway. I can't recall the last tie I was there on the ground . . .
