Diode Dynamics Multicolor Dome Light

I had an ad for this @Diode Dynamics item pop up on my fb. Its marketed for the Musting but I believe the Maverick has the same overhead/dome lights. I'd like to grab one if I can confirm compatibility.

It will fit -- the circuit boards are the same for both vehicles.

Unfortunately, they don't currently offer a matching rear dome light.

Not to take anything away from Dynamics, but why not just put in a different colored bulb? Sure, not multicolored, but how often do you need to change your dome light color?

Then you don't get the option of having white light when you want it.

The OEM light doesn't use bulbs -- it's a custom circuit board with LED chips on it. If you're offering a replacement, it's logistically easier and more valuable (to some customers) to use RGBW LEDs instead of offering multiple single-color LED versions.

Also, Mustangs come with selectable RGB accent lighting in the footwells and gauge cluster. So this front dome light was intended to match those lights.
