The top one is a pic of my Maverick I got in December and the bottom one it the one I just got in the Beginning of June. As you can see one is different from the other. Both trucks are exactly the same models. Lariat Eco with Lux Package. Even the same color.

I suspect this is due to a chip shortage. Each dial probably requires a chip to display temp.

Interesting. I have twin Mav Lux Eco’s one delivered in November, 2021 and the other in late May, 2022. They both have the digital dials.

Change must have been made in June.

It looks cleaner but less practical... hm... Are the temp always shown on the infotainment display or do you have to mess with controls to view it?

Change over happened to orders built past Cinco de mayo- Sadly I didn't get a bed full of tequila as a consolation prize -

Answer: You have to mess with the controls to view it.

This is a major inconvenience and a safety issue as you need to put your hand and turn the control just to see what it is set at.

No it does not show on the infotainment display unless your turn the knob.

This is a major inconvenience and a safety issue as you need to put your hand and turn the control just to see what it is set at.

Gotta say this would piss me off. Every car I've ever been in with dual climate had readout on the knobs. It's standard.

I have an XLT Lux. Doesn't have dual climate, but I believe it did have temp display for the single zone. I bet mine won't have that either now.

Having to change the screen display mode to see temperature will be a PITA
