I went with AWD because we get wintry weather around here, and this will also be my hunting vehicle.

FWD because that's what the hybrid has. Plus, I simply don't live or drive in places that require anything else.

AWD. Wanted the 4K tow package and appreciate the benefits for driving on snowy mountain roads. No intention to try anything more challenging than the occasional logging road. :)

Did you choose all wheel drive or front wheel drive and why?
FWD, Because I wanted a Hybrid. I'll use this truck for my 80 mile daily commute (400 miles/week) and probably another 25-40 miles on my days off! To give you an idea: my 2016 Sonata has 147,000 miles on it!

I'm really hoping the 37-40 mpg is a reality!

AWD because I wanted a real truck with snow capability and towing.

FWD because I wanted Hybrid. A truck that gets 40mpg, how can you beat that. I have a Bronco Sport if I need AWD.

I live in south and I don't tow or carry huge amount of cargo, so the FW drive will work great. I've been driving a front wheel car since 2014 and never had an issue.

Fwd. Hybrid. If it's too nasty this winter I can drive the old 2003 caravan. I've never had a problem driving it in the winter.

ECOBOOST FWD. No snow in Texas. And the few times it happens, activities halt anyways. My commute is 100mile roundtrip highway and I like the extra passing power. I couldn't get myself to load over $15K on a $20K truck. So I traded 4WD/4K/FX4 in lieu of Lariat Lux for the comfort ride and daily conveniences. I originally debated getting a base XL hybrid (cuz $20k hybrid truck) and another AWD CUV for commuting, but that means double maintenance expenses. I will always think what-if about the 4wd package but I guess I'll be fine - for now.

I went AWD for the 4K towing capacity. We don't get a lot of snow here and all my vehicles run winter tires regardless so that wasn't much of a factor for me.

However, resale value desirability for 4WD trucks in my area is much better than 2WD trucks.
