Did you miss the thread about this meet? If that's an issue I'm willing explore ways to help ensure interested members are made aware of future events.

I am going to be free in October for the 22nd and would love to make another trip to Plano. I enjoyed meeting everyone at the first meet. Maybe we can get more colors and variations this time and it wouldn't hurt if Ford's Garage was involved this time.

Hopefully I will have my truck for the next one. It's just a quick drive from Wichita Falls. Plus I want to see what my nephew has to say after he told me I would never get one .

if I can visit from the Austin area, you can certainly make it from Wichita Falls! Even if your truck hasn't made it yet you can come look are what other folks have done to their Mavs.

Not sure how many in CA will see your post. You would likely be better off posting a new thread in the California regional section with a title describing your proposal.

Good turnout this morning for our first Maverick meet at Ford's Garage. Maybe we did as well as @fordvideoguy 's meet. A great time and very nice meeting everyone!

This meet was dominated by Alto Blue and Area 51. Hope to see some red, cyber orange, carbonized gray, and iconic silver in the future.

Hm. Regarding the dominance of blue Mavs at this meeting, I’m reminded of the joke about Model T’s: you can get any color you want, as long as it’s black.

Alto Blues dominated (not that I am biased but I think that is the best color )... and there was a another guy drove up in a Maverick that was working in the area and happened to see us. He chatted for a bit was not able to stick around very long. Oddly, all there were XLS and Lariat, no XL. We are hoping to see a bigger variety of colors next time.

3 Shadow Blacks that sort of surprises me. It wouldn't be a color that I ever wanted, but after getting it. It has really grown on me. It's a b I t c h to keep clean, but when it is clean. She sure is PURTY.

Sometimes they look black IN the sunlight. In the right light they really sparkle.
