Yet I also called NSA and talked with the same person this poster talked to. Jesse said to me he did NOT tell anyone you should not use the Ready Brute II system with a hybrid. Note that the poster said in HIS OPINION the Ready Brute system is not suitable for use in a Maverick. Nothing about his ACTUAL experience with using one. An Engineer should know to have more actual facts before declaring it "unsuitable". Not recommended is ok, if that is the way he feels.
Jesse DID say there were issues with surging that they are aware of. I experienced those myself.
I have never used an auxiliary braking system that was easier to hook up and actually comes in as soon as you hit the coach brakes. You can feel a wee bit of tug from it too, something hard to do with the electric units I had before.
NSA has pictures and information about my fix for the surging. It completely solved that. I installed a short hydraulic shock on the actuation arm to hitch. You can watch it work in the camera. Slows and smooths the application. I was actually able to tighten the draw a bit for more braking.

Just getting ready to pick up my new 2025 Maverick and trying to determine correct tow package (bar and brake). Would like to know how you did the mod to the ready brake above?

I have been in constant communication with Demco and RoadMaster both have not completed the engineering to address the lower ACC Radar on the 2025 - I just recently took delivery of my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid and as of this time they both do not have a baseplate for this vehicle. BlueOx has gone to market with their baseplates but I am very skeptical being several vendors are selling the same baseplate for the 2024 models - I don’t won’t to risk it so I’m waiting on Demco historically they are less destructive to the front end - hopeful they get something figured out in the next month or so
Installed the RoadMaster baseplate and paired it with the RoadMaster Nighthawk Towbar love the setup on my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid 👍

FYI for those with a Demco baseplate. I started to find a little play in mine. I took the front of the truck off and found one of the bolts supplied by Demco was snapped off at the head. I torqued it to the specified torque when assembling, so not sure why it snapped. I will be upgrading to grade 8 bolt when I replace it. Keep an eye on your baseplates, hopefully this was a one off bolt failure and not a design issue.

Good catch Eric just a great reminder and reason to inspect all towing equipment before you flat tow no matter the brand - I just got back from a 400 mile trip the Maverick flat towed beautifully I could not be more happy
