What year is your Maverick?

Dunno for other years, but on my 2025 the 'my view' panel is there 95% of the time, and if it isn't I just flick the right side "OK" toggle down once and it'll appear

I have the same problem.
I set the screens i want to see, then they aren't there when I toggle down.
I selected all of them, but I only have the default ones to see.

I have a 2021 F-150 that needed a software update not long after getting it that fixed the “My View” settings from not sticking
On my 25 Maverick I cannot seem to be able to get the My View to work correctly. For instance, if I want to see the My View option I have to open the menus then select My View, then select one of the gauges I added to it, then it puts me in My View and will finally scroll my selected gauges (it’s not there by default at startup), The My View is supposed to always show us the gauges we select and not the default options and be there by default on startup. Has anyone had a software update done in order to fix this or is it an ongoing issue that Maverick owners are supposed to live with?
Also I used the search function and went through pages and haven’t seen anyone specifically address this,, only claims here and there about it being “weird”
It straight up just does not work as it’s intended. There’s no point in calling it My View and then making me go through hoops to get there. In my F-150 it’s set it and forget it, each time I start my vehicle it’s there showing me the gauges I want to see. I don’t like having to scroll through multiple menus just to see my tire pressure
I have had issues with it as well or as I expected it to work. It seems to have default selections regardless. Ford isn’t any help and the online manual is a joke!

Ok so put another one on ignore. Uninformed people chiming in their wrong information all over this forum is insane. Night and day difference between here and the F-150 forums as far as actual useful information and members genuinely wanting to help. Here it seems like a major clown contest.
I'm not sure who you're referring to in that comment?

So my view is their view, not my.

The method mentioned above also is not correct for those of us with this issue. Which is apparently quite a few of us. By default (as I know from another vehicle) the point of it being called My View is that it should show by default once set. Doing what you described will only bring up the default choices Ford has picked, so no tire pressure for instance.
i agree 100%. i also jump through the hoops to get to My View. If Ford lets users take the time to setup a "My View" with the cards they want to see then its obviously what the user wants.... and that should be the default. Maybe give the user the option to clear out the My View and that could make the default view back to factory setting.

its good to hear that Ford was able to fix it on an F150 update. Now i can look forward to the future Maverick updates and hope for the best (usually updates just foul things up)

His comments fed his self importance, that type of wording is often used by narcissists to help them feel special.
I find the core group here very knowledgeable and the funny futher muckers funny as hell.

It takes a special kind of insecure to make a statement like the one below.

So back to the topic on hand, I will hopefully help get to the bottom of this.”

The F-150 guys should be far more Informed with that truck
Duh ~!
They’ve had decades to learn about them.
We’ve had less than four years to learn about the Mavericks that were almost completely developed by kids.

How’s that for an old geezer rant ?

Could not agree more! Guy comes on here and then bashes people for their answers.
I was not being snarky with my answer.
My View does not work. I don’t care what you are trying to do with it. Like I said, it’s a feature, not a bug.

Byeee,
Bob

I went from a ‘22 Mav to ‘25. The MyView on the ‘22 worked great. Picked the screens I wanted and that is what I got each time I started up. On the ’25, it doesn’t do that at all. Sure, we can pick the screens we want, but checking them; and they are there in MyView; and MyView screens are there, and you can toggle in out of My View; UNTIL you turn Off the vehicle and get back in. Then MyView screens aren‘t there my default. You have to pick MyView then MyView again. It mostly unusable. Now I only use it when I decide I want to look at, say, tire pressures. So I have MyView set to have the screens I want, but now I only occasionally look at them.

Sorry you feel like you are having a bad experience on this forum. I have found that 95% of the people are great, and there is a lot of activity here; 95% is great. I also follow the Mustang7g forum, and there Is way less traffic on there; so bad posters stick out more there, but it has been getting better; as probably more people buy them.
