I have had issues with it as well or as I expected it to work. It seems to have default selections regardless. Ford isn’t any help and the online manual is a joke!I have a 2021 F-150 that needed a software update not long after getting it that fixed the “My View” settings from not sticking
On my 25 Maverick I cannot seem to be able to get the My View to work correctly. For instance, if I want to see the My View option I have to open the menus then select My View, then select one of the gauges I added to it, then it puts me in My View and will finally scroll my selected gauges (it’s not there by default at startup), The My View is supposed to always show us the gauges we select and not the default options and be there by default on startup. Has anyone had a software update done in order to fix this or is it an ongoing issue that Maverick owners are supposed to live with?
Also I used the search function and went through pages and haven’t seen anyone specifically address this,, only claims here and there about it being “weird”
It straight up just does not work as it’s intended. There’s no point in calling it My View and then making me go through hoops to get there. In my F-150 it’s set it and forget it, each time I start my vehicle it’s there showing me the gauges I want to see. I don’t like having to scroll through multiple menus just to see my tire pressure
I'm not sure who you're referring to in that comment?Ok so put another one on ignore. Uninformed people chiming in their wrong information all over this forum is insane. Night and day difference between here and the F-150 forums as far as actual useful information and members genuinely wanting to help. Here it seems like a major clown contest.
i agree 100%. i also jump through the hoops to get to My View. If Ford lets users take the time to setup a "My View" with the cards they want to see then its obviously what the user wants.... and that should be the default. Maybe give the user the option to clear out the My View and that could make the default view back to factory setting. The method mentioned above also is not correct for those of us with this issue. Which is apparently quite a few of us. By default (as I know from another vehicle) the point of it being called My View is that it should show by default once set. Doing what you described will only bring up the default choices Ford has picked, so no tire pressure for instance.
His comments fed his self importance, that type of wording is often used by narcissists to help them feel special.I'm not sure who you're referring to in that comment?
"Uninformed people chiming in their wrong information all over this forum is insane." Mine is working fine, what else is there to say? Get your truck checked out or re flashed or something ...
Could not agree more! Guy comes on here and then bashes people for their answers. His comments fed his self importance, that type of wording is often used by narcissists to help them feel special.
I find the core group here very knowledgeable and the funny futher muckers funny as hell.
It takes a special kind of insecure to make a statement like the one below.
