I’ve had the MyMav device on two mavericks for about three years. Works great and simple to install
Could you share how to connect it up? I thought about getting one but hate messing with electronics. Thanks.

It comes with instructions. Tells you where to hook up power and where to attach into harness, but there’s also a you tube video on line. 15-20 minutes to hook it up and was only about $50. It can also be set for other modes.

My 25 XLT does not ask me this.
It does - on the steering wheel, as mentioned earlier.
If you've never used the mode button on your steering wheel. That is the reason it's never asked you whether you want to return to your previous mode.
yes, a giant leap backwards from previous models!
The old button worked the same way as your button, it was just in a less convenient place. 🤷‍♂️

The steering wheel is the ideal place for me.
I switch between Eco and Sport regularly, almost every drive..

I wish I had the Manual button on my steering wheel. But I can find it pretty easy in the center of the gear selector w/o looking now.

Its the extra TC and Auto Start stop buttons that distract me and I have to "look for" each time, but I use them very rarely.

If you still have the Seatbelt warning or 'fuel level low' warnings popup at startup, those will interfere/block the prompt to 'use last mode'..unless your quick and clear them at startup.
I've long since disabled the Seatbelt warning screen.

Part of my startup routine is to just "ok" to my last drive mode almost every time now. Ideally it would just default to "last mode" and there would be no faffing about with buttons and menus.
/s But, we couldn't have drivers defaulting to Sport mode and circumventing auto start stop, and increasing emissions and fuel consumption. Then people would be upset about the fuel mileage/emissions and is likely the reason we're in this situation as is. (Emissions)

And subjected to random changes when the dog wants in your lap. That’s why there is a cover on my buttons.
That's one reason I installed a pet barrier behind the front seats!

The ritual when you start...super quickly within 1 second press the OK to retain your driving mode before the SEATBELTSTATUSOMG takes over. Oh and turn off the start stop..every..time.

Somewhat good news is.
On a 2025 Maverick when you start the vehicle. You will be asked if you would like to return to your previous drive mode. One click of the steering wheel button and you're all set

I hope this information helps you.
Good luck

well yes its one click... technically you have to push the OK button up then click OK. i count it as 2. For some odd reason the default is set to No.

Good pic for something so fast!

Sad it appears their GUI makes No look like the default selection.
But I guess even Yes is different than rest of the box color.
They need a period too.
Normal active.
Return to ECO?
