Ford promised a software fix for the deep sleep issue in ‘…the first quarter of 2025…’. Times running out, guys…
Don't forget the backup camera issue and the thousands of unsold 2024s sitting in storage lots.

Ford promises = 🤥

If Ford promises a date, I expect no less than an additional 6 months of "unforeseen" delays.

Maybe we'll get a remedy by the end of summer. Or maybe not.

The only way you are going to get Ford to move on either issue with urgency is: start a class-action lawsuit. Then significant penalties will hit the bottom line.

Got along without backup cameras for over 60 years and never backed into anything (including when pulling 36’ trailer). So why does Ford have their panties in a wad over not having the fix yet? Even with cameras you need to still check surroundings and use mirrors.

Dear "DesertHorses" Patti,
The reason why Ford in your words 'has their panties in a bunch' is because, NHTSA levied a $165 MILLION DOLLAR FINE and a 🛑 stop sale of all affected 2024 unsold Mavericks, For failing to act in a timely manner, finding a fix for the backup camera. The backup camera was made a safety mandate in 2018. As a safety mandate, a backup camera is as much a part of safety equipment as seat belts, airbags, headlights, turn signals, etc.
In layman's terms. The backup camera works or the vehicle doesn't get sold.

It's April 1, 2025. Has anyone been notified of a permanent fix for the hybrid 12v battery draining/charging issue. Ford stated a fix would be available first quarter of 2025.
