Seems it is time to abandon the Maverick and Ford all together 'cuz they can't do what we think they should achieve ... perfection. Or, maybe call on then to rightly address their "imperfections." To me this would NOT be a splicing of things and call it good but a total replacement of the harness that fixes the problem, a harness with as few splices as possible since splices are where problems happen.Wait until those DI Ecoboost start having oil issues. It is not Ford issue, but a DI engines issues. Thinking about it, is there any vehicles out there with no problems?

It is not a new system. Ford has many years of hybrid experience. It appears to be a particular crappy wiring harness. Poor quality control.
