Wait until those DI Ecoboost start having oil issues. It is not Ford issue, but a DI engines issues. Thinking about it, is there any vehicles out there with no problems?
Seems it is time to abandon the Maverick and Ford all together 'cuz they can't do what we think they should achieve ... perfection. Or, maybe call on then to rightly address their "imperfections." To me this would NOT be a splicing of things and call it good but a total replacement of the harness that fixes the problem, a harness with as few splices as possible since splices are where problems happen.

I don’t get you people that just shrug your shoulders and say “Oh well, that’s life” when your new vehicle has a design flaw that could be very serious. You should be calling every auto publication you can to get the news out. Bad publicity will get Ford’s attention. And no, this site doesn’t count.

If I was so disappointed with Ford I would never buy one of their vehicles. My first Ford was a 59 wagon and I’ve driven Ford my whole life and wouldn’t change because of a problem that Ford will fix, you haven’t even contacted them and your angry. I wouldn’t be real happy but my experience is they have never let me down. I too just past 3,000 miles and I love everything about it. Hope you make out to your satisfaction

They told me it was an "internal transmission" problem. Told me that their trannie mechanic was tearing it apart to find the problem. Sure hope "trannie" refers to the tranmission.
