Dealerships can't get Maverick unless special ordered?

Yes and had one other form to fill and sign also. My License was copied for them also.
Ii hope all is in order to get on the production list to build.

The stock orders would be a different model year, so not really a concern.

Did they copy your driver's license when they took your order? My dealer did and sent me a copy of the order preview to sign confirming my features.

I believe what they meant was that if there's a stock unit on the lot now, green window sticker, or coming soon that's obviously a 2023, and the OP has ordered a 2024.

There was excess manufacturing capacity for 2023 ecoboost Mavericks, so some stock units did get built. Someone here on MTC bought one in late spring, they opened a thread asking why their sticker was green.

That probably will happen again in 2024, but we'll see.

They were saying they put in an order in July, which would be for a 24. Everything on lots now is a 23.

The place where i got mine cannot get any vehicles without consumer demand. Basically a no obligation pre order required for any fords. ( wasnt a ford dealer though, a ford /nissan satellite office)

Looks like my order form, been back twice in pass year to resign etc. and still nothing, Ford chat etc says order there, just collecting dust
