Dealerships can't get Maverick unless special ordered?

Could someone verify if this true. That dealerships can only get Maverick if a customer orders one. There is no ordering them in advance from the dealership and that there is only so many that each dealer can order a certain amount for customers. There is a limited number.

A "stock" order put in by the dealer would have a priority code that is "worse" than any customer/custom order. And it could not be changed by the dealership.

So they CAN put in a stock order, but it will not be selected for production unless the dealership has no customer/custom orders that can be built within their allocations for that month.

Yes, if they entered your email correctly. Ask your dealership for your order number and their dealer code. Then call Ford to confirm they have your order. 1 (800) 392-3673 .

Guessing you might have ordered from Bickford Ford in Snohomish?

The stock orders would be a different model year, so not really a concern.

Did they copy your driver's license when they took your order? My dealer did and sent me a copy of the order preview to sign confirming my features.

They can get stock orders in as James Collins Ford has stock ordered mavericks on the lot

Yes, they got my drivers license and I signed an order preview. Just wonder if I should have got some kind of confirmation from Ford?

Yes, you should have. Call Ford and ask. Your "Dealer Code" is the "Sales Code" you see in the image I posted in my last message. Your "Order Code" is below the sales code.

Well, if you find that they screwed you, you should definitely confirm or deny which dealership. People on here like to keep track of the good and bad dealerships.

Yes, that is all you need to call Ford to ask your status.

Your "Dealer Code" (what I find the Ford people understand best) is labeled as the "Sales Code" you see near the top right. Your "Order Code" is below the sales code.

I did. I would let the dealership know you haven't received any emails regarding your order status and confirm they have the correct email linked to your order. It's possible they mistyped when entering it into the system.

You can also call Ford as suggested by others to confirm that it's in the system, but it seems to me more likely to be a typo since they've completed all the other steps.

You should have gotten an email when you ordered. I had to ask my dealer a couple times but once they put it in to Ford I got an email within the hour.
