Expected is not guaranteed. Sometimes expectations aren't met, and delays occur. When there is a fix ready, hybrid owners will get notified and there will be a flood of redundant posts here about it.
Keeping my key fob in the Mav puts an extra drain on my battery? Just recently my dome lights have not been coming on. Had it at the dealer 2 weeks ago they told me battery was fine but the BMS connecter had come loose. Everything was fine till 3 days ago, back with no domes. For those of you still suffering from the issue - buy your own AGM (possibly larger capacity), increase your max SoC, and keep your keys away from your Maverick.
Can also reduce your timeout default time to keep 12v a bit happier.
It sure does because it will keep thinking you are going to be using it.Keeping my key fob in the Mav puts an extra drain on my battery? Just recently my dome lights have not been coming on. Thanks for that information. I had no clue. First vehicle I owned with a fob. Seems to be a lot of stuff that does not add to my driving satisfaction but does add to my driving distractions. It sure does because it will keep thinking you are going to be using it.

They just rolled out a fix for the backup camera, so their service centers are busy with that.MAYBE jumping the gun here as its only April 1st. BUT
It looks that the ONLY way ford does anything is with class action lawsuit.
Any lawyers here interested??
Yes lawyers are the only ones who make money in a class action but I don't care as long as it forces ford to do something.
