I hope they find the problem and please let me know if they do, I will bring that back to my dealer that says its normal even though they know its not, all you have to do is go to any 26 and see its not normal, am waiting for 1k than going in for oil change I usually change break-in oil at 2k than am going to speak to service manager and GM if necessary. Am sure they checked the sensor, after 2 trips to dealer I think that would be the first thing to check, I know they checked for all faults in system and for software updates none found, which means nothing, that's what brought them to the conclusion NO PROBLEM FOUND, SYSTEM WORKING AS DESIGNED. Please let me know what they find. Thank you
I’ll do that, I checked with the service department again and will get it in on 6/25/2026. So that’s next week. I’m not very optimistic that they will find the problem, but they could I suppose.

Methinks it's not only Ford service departments that are booked well in advance especially for electronics gremlins.
It both highly dealer and brand dependent. Ford is seriously struggling with the software end of this problem in a way that Euro dealers have long figured out, it's a side effect of increased digitalization and its something service departments have to get used to.

The ford Ford family dealership networks around me all have universally horrible service reputations. The Chevy and Chrysler dealers dont follow this trend, some are good and some are bad. My VW dealer OTOH is excellent to work with and played a major part in my purchase over a Forte GT or a Civic SI.

For got to ask @a***h - you did try the screen brigtness dimmer control (by the headlight switch) when the problem was happening? It controls screen brightness for lamps on/lamps off modes separately.

Yes, I did that first thing. That control works as it should, as well as the brightness control in the sync settings. This problem is not to do with those adjustments. This problem is caused by the system being stuck in the night position.
