Except you can, because it's clickbait. The initial video he stated "It's funny I did a review calling it reliable and then something goes wrong". Then he drives it in the video to show the shifting problems and all the evidence in previous videos shows us the likely issue is him being hard on it.

His titles should be "I screwed up my transmission". We know it's limits. It's not a trophy truck. And now it's "FORD can't fix my Maverick"...

This aint a FORD Maverick thing. This is an idiot driver thing. There is hard use and stupid use. This driver is stupid.

I have no problem defending those who need defending. And if it was you, as you've made it clear multiple times that "it's a truck and I treat it like so" essentially (I mean no offense either btw), then I'm sure if something was to happen we'd get something more truthful along the lines of "I broke my Maverick" and not the blaming the transmission/FORD like this kid.

Well to be fair the world is mostly full of stupid people.

Backstory please? What happened and how many miles? Towing history?

Pretty sure he's the guy who's previous YouTube video just prior to the problem, indicated he was over 80k and it was super reliable. Then maybe 2-3 weeks later, he had the trans issue, and posted a video showing the issue. He was on a road trip and continued to drive it, as the problems became more serious, shooting video of the issues from the last fill up on the final leg of the journey home. - I was following his videos.

Unless he has an extended service plan, he's probably well out of the powertrain warranty at 80k. Hopefully they don't see his video regarding the problem, and deny coverage due to making it worse. - Mechanics love when they don't get the full story.

If he was in Southern NJ, my brother could fix it, that's what he does nearly exclusively, he knows Ford transmissions....he's the A-Tech/Trans person at the dealership, and is a team supervisor in the shop, training guys under him to fix them correctly to prevent come-backs.
