Time to lemon law it.
Ford will pay for roadside emergency repair have dealer get a kit and fix it until parts come in. Ask your dealer about it. It’s in the warranty and policy manual

I am beginning to think so.
Due to the fact it isn't warranty or recall why don't you take it to a real repair shop that could have it fixed in a day ? Drop it off at my house in Nashville and I could fix it in a few days after getting the repair fitting ( Which Ford has no clue about )

It would be a long way to haul it on a flat-bed from Minnesota, but I appreciate the offer. I had them look for salvage parts on your advice.

I would never trust a stealership to search for a used part.......

By the way just one more comment on this - The fuel lines aren't permanently attached they can be removed without damage. I'm not sure what kind of crackhead service advisor/idiot you're dealing with at the dealership but I'd love for them to explain why you can't take a fuel line off without destroying it

You're right. It's not eligible.

Under the lemon law, “The Manufacturer’s Duty to Refund or Replace

1. Four or more unsuccessful attempts to repair the same defect; or,
2. One unsuccessful attempt to repair a defect that has caused complete failure of the steering or braking system and that is likely to cause death ore serious bodily injury if the vehicle is driven; or,
3. A car that has been out of service due to warranty repairs for 30 or more cumulative business days.”

So I dunno. Power train warranty includes fuel system. Is this truck warranted for that? Is this problem (caused by driving under typical winter conditions, not mountaineering or something) and the subsequent lack of parts to repair it, covered by the Lemon Law?Doesn’t seem like it.

It does seem to be covered by the “you paid too much and now you are screwed” law.

Finally got it back on Tuesday this week. They mysteriously had the parts shipped to them.

So … A happy — if much belated — ending at last?

And all is well with the world, except for, well, the world this particular dealership lives in?
