Custom Tailgate Letters Wanted

I have been wanting to join to tailgate decal group, but I have a particular vinyl I want. unfortunately I do not own a vinyl cutting machine or know anyone who does..

I am wondering if someone on here knows of someone who would be willing to cut the decals for me, I can provide vinyl and a return label for shipping.
Or if they know an Etsy shop where the have more custom options.
I have a black glitter vinyl I want to use instead of matte or glossy options you can usually find.

Google search is your friend, they sell all types of those inserts for the tailgate indentions. From standard cut vinyl to raise plastic that sets flush to a flexible polyurethane I'm not sure what the material is.

I personally don't like them but I know a lot of people do,

Misti, having the material is great.
You also need a designed cut file that the plotter/cutter can follow.
You may try contacting someone on Etsy. Asking if you send them your material, if they'll do the cut and charge you what they would for their own stencils. Custom orders cost more.
For 7 years my business was cut vinyl for trucks, ATV's, snow machines, boats, dirt's bikes and signs.

Try looking google, a vehicle design wrap shop in your local area and talk to them. If they need a pattern for cutting, it might be less expensive to purchase a set from Etsy or others just to use as a pattern.

I had some material like that and tried to cut tailgate letters for my truck. Unfortunately it didnt cut cleanly through most of the reflective hexagons and some of them came completely off. Ill take a picture of it tomorrow, its at my shop.

You may have luck locally if there is any sign making shop or vinyl graphics type around as they normally have the equipment needed

Glittery like reflective or like nail polish?
If it’s reflective Amazon has a few on there you could pick from. I got the reflective red for my Mav so it’s not really noticeable unless it’s at night.

There are many styles out there that are precision cut, fit well and are easily applied like the ones I installed on my truck over a year ago and they still look Great. (at least to me) These were purchased off e-bay and as I said previously, came in many colors/textures. Good luck to you and finding what you want.

Flip it over and cut with exacto knife from back side. Is it thin enough to cut 1/8"-3/16" letters out of plastic or metal and wrap with this even if heated? Would be solution if cannot get clean cut edge.

I've been trying to find that black reflective - true reflective, type lettering.

Found this Esty shop that say's they'll do custom cuts also, guessing you could ship material.

I can't find any examples of their multi-colors that say reflective, to confirm we are talking the same thing.
I have some of that tape on my bike, black during day, shiny at night with light. That's what I mean by reflective, and I don't think it was even the 3M version shown above, which I know works good too. I'll see if I can get a brand on it tonight.
I know I put on my bike wheel rims white front, red rear reflective tape strips - that work well.
Since it's 1/2" wide, was almost considering just attempting a manual tape job with the similar black version.
3 rims here, red almost as bright as white, and even the extreme angle on downtube still reflected great.

I haven't used this yet, but think this was referenced above. Good to know the red works.
